Books: About this section

Let me tell you something before we begin: I was never a literary critic, nor an esteemed intellectual. I’m just a regular guy who enjoys making coffee more than actually drinking it, and piles up books on my Kindle like they’re unfinished promises. In this section, I’m going to share, as honestly as possible, what I’m reading in 2025.

I doubt these reviews will be filled with technical jargon or exquisite analyses. I’d rather think of these posts as after-dinner conversations, where stories serve as an excuse to talk about life, ideas, and those little obsessions that stick with you by the time you reach the last page.

For now, I’m focusing on my readings this year, although I’m tempted to occasionally revisit some texts from past years, depending on how I feel. I still haven’t decided whether to publish everything right now—mixed up and chaotic—or save those older stories for when the present calms down a bit.

If you feel like recommending a book, debating what I’ve written, or just chatting about how a good paragraph can rock your whole week, drop a comment on the sidebar. Nothing makes me happier than bringing different voices to the table and turning this into a long conversation, where everyone tosses in ideas as we open another bottle.

Thanks for stopping by this little corner; I hope that what you read here feels as intimate as those chats that start with a book and end up fixing the world at three in the morning.
